Hey guys,

Just got back from the dealer and palced my order today. Its a 24 month lease.

2006 525i
Black Saphire
Black Leather (should i change it to sand?)

Premium Package
Automatic Tansmission
Comfort Access
Park Distance Control
Xenon (should i worry about these being stolen easily)
Navigation

24 Months 10K miles a year

Total due at signing $1500
$529.00 Per month (including tax)
(early termination of my current lease by 3 months)

What is your guys opinion on the following:

1. Price?
2. car package chosen?
3. Should i get sand or auburn leather instead? (can soemone send me pictures of black on black)

Great. Not enough info to comment on price. Your choices are good assuming you don't want the sport package. Black on black is good. I like SIRIUS and Premium sound (if not included). Comfort seats are nice, but may not be worth it to you.

Sleeper, You don't say where you are sleeping, so I won't warn you about bk on bk in hot climates. But I had that on 2 cars and trust me, even in upstate NY, that soaks up a LOT of solar rays. You may want to consider some pimp tint if you go with the all-black scheme.

Otherwise, It's your call. I would have preferred the tan with my black exterior this time around, as I had the gray in my E39, but gray it is, so gray it stays.

Good luck,
Ray Hull

I use a windshield screen in the summer on my black on black non-tint Z06 in Phoenix, and I don't notice much difference in it and our other cars. But, everything gets very hot in Phoenix. Maybe that's the difference; everything heats up to beyond unbearable--so, maybe, what's a few degrees more or less?

it would add another $40 a month which i dont really wanna pay.
This car is mostly a weekend car since i take a train to work every day.
Its only a 2 year lease so this way i can get teh 3 series convertible(hard top) once it comes out

BLK on BLK is beautiful. I wash mine quite a bit, however. The temp averages over 100 during July and August, and I had absulutely no issues with heat.
Don't worry about the headlights. They are worthless to anyone that doesn't have a e60.

Great choice!

also, if you do not get the xenons you could save $ and chsnge the bulbs for effect and also easily change the angel eyes to make them brighter

There's nothing worse than fake xenons. So tacky...

sleeper that is a GREAT price...congrats.
u dont say where youre located...if youre in the north USA id definitely consider the cold weather package...the seat heaters are awesome. i personally would skip the PDC since i rarely park in the street. again its your call, you cant miss either way.
have u seen the auburn interior? i have it with black saphire and consider it to be a great combo.

congrats on your new ride. enjoy it in good health.
