1. You love your E60.
2. You will have a couple of years until the F10 is into it's second year of production and free of any bugs etc.
3. You can probably get the 2010 at a reasonable price.
4. You already KNOW what you're getting yourself into with another 550i!

DO IT!!

omg i cant even read through all that writing as it is too early for me and i dont feel like it.. but that being said.. why dont you look into taking over someones lease on leasetrader.com and maybe that will save you some money and in the meantime give you time to figure out what you really want to do.. cause after seeing all that reading it looks like your n ot sure yourself.. ugh.. (back to my coffee)

Thanks to all for the thoughts. Never an easy decision on chosing a new car. But, I think its the wisest, and how can a new 550i be a bad thing? LOL....

New 550i Sport with M Tech kit and 172s included is a great choice.

Good decision

On a side note, a friend of mine just bought a 2010 528i and his I-drive is A LOT better (better graphic, faster ...).

Who me? I have no thoughts or feelings. But a new M5 would be sweet. So would a 550i Sport if M5 is financially out of reach.

Good choice Pete - you can't go wrong with leasing the 550i.

But I think you should stick with a classic.

I have a similar dilemma. Would absolutely buy an M3 but my 6ft tall 14 year old would never fit in the back. By far, at our dealership, the most popular car in our lineup among staff remains the X6. At first I didn't really like it but now I am to the point where I think it's going to be my next car. The looks have really grown on me and the car drives incredibly well; almost unbelievably so. I think that it warrants serious consideration. And no, I would not buy an E60 because when they change in about a year you are going to want an F10. You might also want to wait a couple of months and check out the 500 GT. From the pictures I hate it, but I said the same thing about both the new E60 and the X6. You might also want to think about an X5 4.8. I drove one for close to 400 miles the other day and loved it.
