I honestly hate my dealer. BMW Of Hudson Valley is the biggest joke ever. I had an appointment for 4:45 today and they had no record of me ever calling
When questioned about tomorrow they only have one slot ready which is at 7:45AM LOL. Closed on Saturday and Sunday . No loaner cars, all are booked until new years. No shuttle service. Never bought my car from Hudson bought in good old NJ.
I got a slew of excuses today, no loaner cars, no shuttle service, no tires in stock, no record of ever calling
Will the allignment get messed up on my wheels if I drive a good 60 miles to the next friendliest dealer? The only closest one that even offers a loaner car and a car wash is Prestige.
My tire had been punctured and the spare tire that's in the trunk has been installed. I am just worried that if I drive 60 miles to Prestige the alignment on the car will get messed up.
The tire alone is $250.

I do not think driving 60 miles on the spare will effect the alignment. Have you tried Ray Catena BMW (formerly Westchester BMW) in White Plains. Should be closer for you. I am on my 4th BMW from them and have always found the service excellent. Though they do have a limited number of loaners (as do all dealers), they will shuttle you anywhere close, including the train station, provide car washes, coffee, tv, etc..

Also, unless they are replacing the tire under warranty (doubtful) then why not just go to a tire shop and get a new tire there? You don;t have to bother yourself or waste time at the dealer, good luck

But our family does neglect on maintenance and issues when they arrise. Camry had a Maintance required light on for several months until we finally went to get the oil changed.
Never tried Ray Catena (yet) as its a good 55 miles. Good dealer though when we were shopping around for SUVS went to Ray Catena Lexus. I think they also bought Westchester Lexus.
However Prestige BMW is 40 miles away so might as well go there. Also local tire shopes are wanting $210-$230 while BMW wants $250 rather pay the extra $30-$40 and get it done at BMW.
Or do you think it wont matter?

I was sure the alignment would not be affected.

If its just mounting the tire on the wheel, a tire shop will do as good a job or better than BMW
+1, it's a tire, not something BMW specific where you need a specialist. It's just a tire. Any BMW dealer you go to you will be there a minimum of 2 hours, tire shop? 20 mins tops. Take it to a tire shop that carries your brand and get it done.

Dealer called me back today and told me they DO have a tire in stock and I am allowed to drop the car off anytime during the day. No wait ins.
If I make a BIG deal about how I need a car you think they might have a loaner?
This dealer does not even have any donuts to devour while you are waiting.

To be honest? I'd still go to a tire shop and save the $30-40 bucks, there is nothing special about a tire that needs to be done at the dealer - it's just a tire.

Maybe if the dealership washes your car before they return it... My local dealer does that. But Id rather save 30 min of driving and 2 hours of waiting rather theng etting a free car wash.
