I feel for you. I am SO SORRY you are going through this!! This is some of the same runaround crap I got too. At the dealer forever, and nothing fixed when it was returned! No fault found. Evil words that the dealer seems to enjoy falling back to!

My advice is to demonstrate all the problems to a tech when you take it in.

Don't just let the SA write it down.

I believe something is very wrong with BMW AG. There are so many people having problems with their dealers who cannot fix small things that are easy to get fixed.

BMW has the "freude am fahren" high up.. But when we cannot drive our cars because it is in for service there is little "freude".

I hope your problems can be solved quickly and others can hand solutions for simillar problems that were solved by their dealership.
big problems for them are small problems, small problems for them are no problem. i think that's their motto !

Your dealer seems to be the worst in history of BMW!

Maybe we go to him and I have a little conversation with him when I am in HI...!?

It's unbelievable...

I have a big picture on my wall in my office what reminds me everyday:

"the art of listening is the key to customer service".

The guys at your dealer doesn't listen and don't have any understanding of customer service... I feel your pain... It sux if you have to deal with a bunch of i*i*ts...
well, probably not the worst compare to suebmw but very close .
i always think it's a good idea a few of us go to the dealer the same time and telling them the same problems (especially you are over 6' ). then they won't think we are the ones who creating the problems and imagining them .
well, they listened...but they just don't care and not going to do anything !

i couldn't agree with you more. i think they also have a big picture on the wall like iceman. but instead of the nice wordings iceman has, theirs must be "no faults found" !

i wanted to but the proper procedure is make an appointment w/the service advisor and he/she has to write up the work order. as what i mentioned in the other post before, the tech and the president are the same in the dealer, hard to reach ! how did you ask for a tech when you took your car to the shop?
