My Ride: 535dA Sport - 2005, Silver Grey, Dakota Grey Leather, M Spoiler, Bluetooth, Usual Sport Pack Extras.
New to the Forum, New to BMW and can't wait to collect my 535dA Sport on Friday 13th!
Yes, I know is a bad day to collect a new car, but I'm sure it's gonna be fine.
It's Silver Grey with Grey Dakota, Blue Tooth and M Spoiler. Not too much spec, but what an engine!
Any suggestions on "running in" the engine, or is that a thing of the past. My last three cars have been new and they were fine without limiting the revs for the first few miles. I suppose this one should be the same?
Anyway, just wanted to say Hi, and looking forward to being a member of the E60 Forum, and owning an E60....

Don't worry, Andy. There isn't a bad day to pick up a new Bimmer. Enjoy.

I know very well the feeling, it has been the same to me on Dec 04.
The waiting is very well worthy.
Next Friday will be a special lucky day for you.

Only done 1,500 miles in mine so far. Its a smile a mile
You will love the car especially the colour which always looks good even when dirty!
Running in the book says keep below 3,500rpm and 93mph which is easy with the mega torque available.
