My Ride: My ex-ride: EU '08 LCI 520dA. Space Grey, Sport Seats in Black Leather/Fabric Anthracite, Sport Steering Wheel, A/C with Extended Features, Hi-Fi Speakers, Cup Holders, Cruise with Braking function, Folding Rear Seats, Xenons, Park Distance Control.
Euro 1,300 (some $ 1,800) a year including anything and everthing.

?750 / year (about $1000) with the German insurer HUK for the top coverage including everything and more and full international coverage.
I recall when I lived in New York I heard that New Jersey was the highest rates of insurance in the lower 48, and New York City was second highest.

$698/year with State Farm. Rolled in with multi-car, home, and jewelry insurance, which lowers it a bit. My agent is the nephew of the guy my mom has had all her insurance with for 20+ years (total coincidence he lives here). Anyway, the guy treats me like family. Last year we had a partial ceiling collapse in our foyer due to a leak upstairs and he didn't even send an inspector. Just told me to get it fixed and submit the bill. I probably could get a better rate elsewhere, but I won't switch because of the service.
