545 6 speed with premium audio, satellite radio, cold weather, and park distance is listing over $62. Dealer is letting me out of my lease 3 months early with no penalty or other excess fees at turning.

I'm being offered a 525 3yr lease (36,00 mile) with:
Premium, Sport, automatic, xenon, rear sunshades

for $670/month. This supposedly represents $1500 below MSRP.

Sound good?

You can get a 530i for that deal with very small down payment. ($2K-$3K)

I put a deposit down on a 545i with the sports package, comfort seats rear sun shade and the fold down seats in the row. I called a number of dealers in the Southern California area. The best I could do was to get $1000 off the MSRP.

Hope that helps.

excuse my ignorance , but MSRP stands for manufacturer suggested retail price, doesn't it? if so, what does it mean to get a car 3% over dealer invoice? By the way, here in Spain I've ordered my 525i with a 3,75% under what you'd call MSRP in the US (official price call it here), so I assume that's a good deal.

bye, adi?s
Invoice is what the dealer pays for the car which is obviously less than the MSRP, so getting a car for 3% over invoice is paying 3% more than what the dealer payed for the car.

I paid $600 less than MRSP for my E60 just before the car tax went up in California. Is this a bad deal? 3% above invoice sounds much better.

Anyone know what or if there are any penalties for canceling an order? I just got a better deal for the 530 from another dealer, but just placed an order with a different one just a few days ago. Will my down payment be lost?

Need some advice on this. . . thanks.

I think they will keep security deposit that secured the order. Did you already gave them a down payment? If so, you should take it back. Some dealers don't require any deposit for an order but some require at least $500. There should be some kind of documentation for that order. Read it back.
