I am looking at the price for a 530 SMG. With all the options that I want, it comes out to roughly $66,000. How much below MSRP can I expect to pay? Or how much above invoice?

[/quote]Go through Costco or Autobytel. I used Autobytel and got 1.9% over wholesale on my car - also a 2006 model delivered in April 05. Car was ordered, didn't affect the discount. Translated into less than $1400 over wholesale. The best deal I've seen though is one someone described that they got through Costco... $1000 over wholesale.

You should be able to get it for $1500 over invoice, but you may have to check other dealers.

Yikes, sorry guys that was for a 550i with SMG! The 530i SMG was about $56K. So it seems like $1500 over invoice is about right... but how come I dont see discounts on the 550i or 650i? They are selling for MSRP on Carsdirect.com. Is it because they are brand new models?
