My Ride: 2005 525i, Logic 7, PDC. Prem Pkg, Cold Weather Pkg, Sirius, Automatic, Titanium Gray, Blk Leather
I am planning on purchasing an e60, 525i. How long does it take to special order? My delaer tellls me about 6 weeks. Is this about right for those of you who have ordered. Thank you Steven

welcome to forums steven .... i didnt order my car but from previous threads on the forum 6 weeks sounds rigth... do a search it has been discussed before...

My Ride: 2006 BMW M5, Silverstone with black extended leather, brushed aluminium trim, Nav Pro, Logic 7, PDC, 35 % tint.
I ordered my 05 545i with Navi and PDC on Oct 16, 2004. I expect delivery in one week, so about 8 weeks in Canada.

Welcome aboard. Depends on your location. East coast will take a bit shorter, but it will take around 8~9 weeks in West coast in general. It is quite a long long wait.....

I'm thinking of ordering a car too. The salesman just replied my e-mail and told me that i can get the car in 9 weeks from now. Just an estimation. I'm sure there will be some sort of delay eventually.

I ordered mine and it took 5 weeks to get it delivered. There's a lot of factors and I think mine hit it just right. I'd figure 6 to 8 weeks.

Like yourself I'm a newbie to the forum. Although I checked the site before I purchased, I only joined a few days ago. I ordered a 520 in Ireland on June 4th and collected it from the dealer on August 16th. Nothing fancy that would have caused delays/headaches/heartaches for the production system.
