How do I get DETAILED build info
My e60 has a VIN and is in Production. I did a search on this site and found the various production codes. But, when I log in to BMW Owners Circle, it just says "scheduled for production". Order Details doesn't give me any more info.
I called the BMW Customer Care Center and he told gave me a date of October 17th. He mentioned the Body Shop, 4 days, and some other stuff.
He couldn't tell me how to access the detailed information DAS and others have posted in the search.
Please, any help or direct me to the right topic. The Wait is Killing Me!!!
Regards, Mike

Believe it or not, your dealer is the only entity (that we can talk to, anyway) with access to the detailed information about your vehicle - even more detailed than BMWNA Customer Relations.
This sucks, because most salespeople think you're mad if you want to ask them for status updates twice a day.
So what I've taken to doing is using the voice response system at the Customer Relations number (800-831-1117, say "Production Status", and tell it your production number). It's fairly in-line with what the current detailed status is, if not a little behind, and seems to reflect most of the detailed status categories. And the best part is because it's a computer, it doesn't care if you badger it a half dozen times a day.
I wish Owner's Circle would just give us the detailed information...anyway, hope this helps.

The BMW 800 number (speaking to a live person by saying "customer relations" and then "vehicle") can give you all the option info as well as the production status--and confirm that you're the customer associated with the vehicle.
My experience is owners circle is a few day delayed, and the automated system on the 800 number is delayed by a day or 2.
