oh man... I have a dent exactly like OP not even 2 weeks after I purchased my car. I had NO idea a dent that small could be removed!! I'm going to have to do this one day. Sorry about you getting hit-and-runned. I had my car hit near that spot too... sucks. Hope you get it all fixed up in a jippy

I agree, I have been in a similar situation with a rental and anything near a bend is next to impossible to get perfect. They might be able to make it alot better though.

Right now I'm not looking for perfect. At the least I want it to be seen only if you're looking for it.

All of us enthusiasts here can relate to your misfortune. However you can remove about 80% of the damage by using a medium/light polishing compound on a rag. you will be amazed how good it will get. There will be some open spots where the paint is scratched but it will be softened to the eye. If not too bad, after compounding clean thoroughly with ronsonol and wash with soap/water and use a few dabs of touch up paint.
It will look much better at nearly no cost.
