Just curious how the majority of members decided to finance their car....leases vs. purchase?

You know, there's just something about this car that really made me want to own it.

Financially, it may have not been the most prudent decision to make the cash outlay, but then not everything in life is about financial prudence. ;-)

I bought my car. But personally if I look back, I kind of regretted buying it because of my personality. I can easily get bored of something that I own. So leasing was actually for me. But ever since I found this forum, a spirit to mod my e60 comes up, and I somehow got rid of that boredom for now . Anyway, if you're the type who is bored easily, and wants to keep up with new technology, I would suggest that you go for leasing. Else, OWN it it's not that bad

Depends on your tax situation. If you like to get a new car every 2-3 years and can write it off lease is often better.

Exactly my point. If you get bored easily after maybe 2 years, just lease. It's not worth buying, and then you have to go through the trouble selling it.
