I hit a pothole and bent a rim last night. I have oem m5 rims on a 530i. Will the warranty replace a bent rim? Insurance? What do I do?? It won't hold air its so bad...

EDIT: You may also want to see if you can get the rim repaired. Call your BMW shop for a recommendation. Maybe it's fixable

They offer that supplemental insurance for your wheels/tires to you normally after purchase, in the finance office. I have never bought it, and I'm sure you would have remembered if you had. I also would not file a claim for this if I were you. You may need it for something more serious down the road. It will certainly not be covered under warranty....sorry man. I'd start looking for a new combo asap. They do have quality reps out there that may be a good and less expensive choice for a replacement, though you run the risk of it not matching the concavity of the oem's you have on there now Good luck man!!

You should also confirm that your tire is not damaged. Hard impacts can harm the tire structure and render it unsafe. When the shop dismounts it to repair the wheel they should be able to make an assessment.

Just had about 20 inches of snow dumped on us. With all the plowing going on all the roads are ripped up

hey i was going to send u a PM but i had no way of getting you the rim all the way from jersey (no time) and i really needed this taken care of asap.
just got the rim back today. 100$ to fix it, mount and balance too. took it for a test ride and everythings perfect. no vibration or wobble.
thanks everyone. i thought that was going to be a disaster, dent in the rim usually means a dent in the wallet. 100$ and a 2 day turn around not to bad...
