Has anyone had their car on a WW ship...

Has anyone here ever had their car on a Wallenius Wilhelmsen ship and NOT been able to track it by VIN for a part or all of the voyage?
My normal sales advisor was on vacation last week, but someone else at my dealer looked in the system, and claimed it said my car was on the PATRIOT, a WW ship, which sailed on Oct 14. However, I still can't track my car by VIN (either the entire VIN or last 7 characters) on WW's website. Has that ever happened to anyone else?
Further, it's been my experience that the BMWNA automated voice response system has only been a day or so behind the actual events that have occurred through the car's production, but it still says that my car is at the port awaiting a shipping vessel and that no shipping information is available.
Obviously my car will eventually get here, but I'm ridiculously impatient! That, and I'd just really like to know what ship it's on. From others' experience, if the dealer says it's on a ship, is that pretty much correct information? I imagine they'd only update that if it really was boarding that particular vessel...but that brings me back to: why can't I track my car via its VIN?
Thanks for any input.

Well, the answer, according to a WW customer service person, is that sometimes it takes several days for cargo to show up in their tracking system. In any event, my VIN is now trackable and I can watch it on its voyage across the Atlantic.

das, the answer you got from WW was the one I was thinking as I read your first post. My car was on the Patriot as well and I remember trying to track it daily after it sat in the port for about 10 days. The dealer said it was on the boat but it didn't show up for a few more days on the WW site.
It's a frustrating time, isn't it? Don't worry man, you're on the home stretch!!

I was told my car is on the DYVI Pamplona ("K" Line ship), but can't find its call sign (LALG5) on the Oceanweather site. Any ideas what the difference betw. the red and blue flags are?? Any other way to track the ship??

I don't think all ships are required to report (or to report at all times). For example, yesterday I could see my ship, but today it's not on the map or observation tables at all. Perhaps they're there if they have reported within the last X number of hours.

Funny pic, Rudy!!
I would be so upset if I found out my car's ship sank and I'd have to wait another 2 months for another car!! (I'm sure BMW wouldn't be too happy either....)
