How's the water pump? I've seen a lot of people say that you should swap the water pump while you're doing the belts. There was even a thread recently that alleged that the new bearings and belts may have caused the older water pump to fail in one member's car.

And of course, as I've told you before, when you're fixing/maintaining the car, it is always good to consider some modding - especially if "modable" parts need replacing.

I may pass by and see what he says about the water pump.

I consider myself a purist and intend to keep my car absolutely stock and shiny. 2008 328I Convertible, Sapphire black on beige interior. Premium package, NAV, iPod adapter. Obviously you did not go to a BMW dealer. Sounds like you got a very good deal.
