Really? That seems a bit weird to me.
What's that? The concept of tipping in general ( ), or tipping the SA?

EDIT: Keep in mind that I lack in the personality department, so use $$$ to win people over...

I'm a great tipper, as I normally give 25%, but I just think it's odd to tip your SA. In the grand scheme of things, what's $20 to these guys, as they make fairly decent money (at least at Rallye they do)? At Rallye, I actually wanted to tip the "Loaner Car" guys, who don't make much money. In fact, I think they're probably hourly paid employees with no benefits. I will say this though... When I had my E39 and brought it to Habberstad years ago, they did a great job and I brought my SA a really nice bottle of wine that you can't get in any stores (I collect wine).

I'll keep this in mind though. Maybe I'll do that the next time around. If I get a weird look Sergio, I'm blaming it on you. LOL!

HAHA - full disclosure...I haven't tipped my SA at Habberstad (Joe - nice guy)...I tipped the SA at Mercedes in Huntington because we didn't buy the car there, and the SA did a lot when the warranty was coming to the end. Always gave me a loaner, etc. He just seemed to go out of his way to make sure I was satisfied (follow up phone calls up the wazzoo when the car was getting serviced).
