My all time favorite SA is Paul Giaquinto who for many years woked @ Hassel in Freeport.
He is now @ BMW of Bayside. Not my favorite dealership, but Paul tells me there are high caliber technicians there and I trust Paul implicitly.
The throttle on my vehicle is behaving improperly and I am going to let Paul take care of it for me. I have a feeling the micro-beast will be roaring along as it should in short order. Just have to wait and make sure a loaner will be available. This is actually a far more convenient location for me than my "home" dealer, Prestige, which is a 25 mile drive and also always overly packed with customers.
You can see I've tested a few of these dealers out!

what are your thoughts on BMW manhattan?

theyre a BIG dealer and a bit impersonal, but since theyre owned by BMWNA ive thought they do proper work.

Because they are SO big, there is a little man inside of me that says: "don't go there".

I think Gregg uses BMW of Bayside. Have you asked him what his experiences are at this dealership, Lee?

BTW - Habberstad is the best. They work on BMW's that have aftermarket parts and will still fix the car, even if it becomes an issue of the warranty. That's how much I love going to these guys. They report the car to BMW NA as stock and replace what needs to be replaced, regardless of what has been done to the car. I think I see more heavily modded BMW's go through this dealership than any other dealership in NY.

Calton,
I'm sure you are right, but from experience, I know Paul would not do me wrong. If there is one good tech, he will assign him to my vehicle. Personally I always despised Bayside so this is a one shot test based on 12 years of trusting Paul.
I'm a creature of habit. What can I say? But fool me once........
Lee
