Does anybody have any feedback on German Motor Specialists in Sunnyvale, CA? I'm thinking of bringing my car to them to fix the "Passenger Restraint Systems Fault" that seems to be a common problem with the e60's. The sensor mat works because the airbag light turns off when it's occupied and the seatbelt reminder works because it chimes when not in use. Hopefully it's just a reset I will be needing. It happened after thoroughly vacuuming under the seats. I think I hit some of the wires. Here is the website .... http://www.gms.cc

If you're still under warranty, why not take it to the dealer instead? It's free unless of course your warranty is over.

Well since I didn't get many responses in regards to this shop I ended up just taking it to the dealer. They just got back to me and told me the sensor mat was bad and it would be $1600 to fix. Sucks for me I guess.

This may be too late for the OP. But I highly recommend GMS. When I had my E39 M5, I had them replace my clutch and they did an excellent job at half of the dealer price. Their service there is excellent too.
