Have the BMW dealer run the VIN for service and warranty campaigns ... it will also list of all options on your car. You may find (it's happened before) the the car had previously been CPO'ed or has the extended BMW maintenance program.

Should be free, all they do is insert your key into their device and all service history and options appear on their screen. A good dealer won't charge for this in the hopes that you choose them for service issues in the future.
