Yes, I can! It now shows up on the WW web site. They said sometimes it takes a couple of days for it to show up, but in any event, it's there now!

It will be in Charleston on the 28th, and then however long it takes to go through the VPC and get to my dealer. First or second week of November...can hardly wait!

Currently, my car is on the ship MV PATRIOT, which left Bremerhaven on 10/14. It will arrive in Charleston, SC on 10/29. Hopefully the VPC won't have it for long; it's looking like it should be at my dealer by the second week of November!

das, does the WW tracking finally show your car?

By the way, the Patriot is near and dear to me...she brought my car and JDN's back in late March, 2004...it's nice to see your car being carried by such a fine vessel with a grand name...

Yes, it took a couple days, but I can now track it on the WW site! Not that that really does me much good, but it's still nice to know which ship my car is on and that it's really on its way!

I've found out a bit more about the PATRIOT. It was originally named FIDELIO, but its owners, American Roll-on Roll-off Carrier (ARC) of Montvale, NJ, renamed it along with the rest of its ships. ARC is now partly owned by Wallenius Lines, a unit of Wallenius Wilhelmsen. ARC also reflagged all of its fleet to the United States, so PATRIOT is a US-flagged vessel.

Some interesting information here:

http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/sys.../ship/faust.htm
http://www.arrcnet.com/fleet_patriot.htm

Here's the FIDELIO before she was renamed:
