Hi All
Great forum.
My new 530 was due in the UK before the 20th of the month I learnt yesterday that there is a factory delay on all E60's and mine looks like the end of the month now.
The dealer said that initially they got a delay on some lucky guys M5 which then spread to all E60s.
Have any of you well informed guys any knowledge of the reason, the dealer thought it would be something minor as it was only a couple of weeks, in the past there have been more significant stopages for component changes. Or maybe my delivery date was too optimistic anyway...
Cheers

I know why the M5 were delayed, but havent heard about the complete E60 delay
The M5 delay was/is for a unique M5 part

Maybe a retool for the newer E60 options or a holdup on one of the new parts common to all of them?

I ordered an E60 in the middle of June and the ETA at the time was July 27.
I contacted the dealer today and asked him if there were any delays and he said no. My car is still due on July 27.
