I am a new BMW owner. Actually just bought a 2006 530xi. I was very interested in buying this maintence plan when I bought my car. But for $2300 bucks it was pretty hard to swallow. But for $1595 at www.twinkidneygrill.com it seems like a great price. A couple questions:

-Have anyone purchased this from twinkidneygrill.com before?
-Are they legit? Any idea how they can offer it so much lower than other dealerships?
-Will they sell to people in NY?
-Is this the same as the current 4 year 50,000 $0 maintence warranty?
-Is there a higher level warranty for the car, I've heard some refer to it as the "new car warranty"
Ive purchased from twinkidnegrill, they are actually a bmw dealership in Atlanta, GA. Rodney says if you walked into their dealership they wouldnt sell it to you for that price only online. Yes they would sell to anyone in the US. Yes this is the same as the current 4 years 50k $0 maintence warranty. Once you have purchased from them they will update in the system.
This is why i think its worth it.
I purchased mine for my 545i a couple of months ago, after what the dealer did for my X5 and my brother's 3 series well worth it.

On my X5 at 99XXX miles they
replaced oil
transmission fluid
transfer case fluid
spark plugs
all drive belts
oxygen sensor
brakes/rotors
same thing for my brothers E46.

I agree for 1500 its a great deal. I'm just a little caution here given the price. But it sounds like you have done it before. Anyone else out there purchased this through the site? I'm just wondering how Rodney is able to offer this when the dealership he is working for can not.

i've been contemplating about extended maintenance/warranty programs ever since i bought my 06 530i with 36k miles a couple months ago. i was going to go with Mercury Platinum Extended Warranty because of another thread i saw earlier, but i think this one comes out to the best deal and that actually coming from BMW.

I actually show my local dealer this link/deal. They were willing to match it.

My dealer threatens me not to purchase the EM program online. He says the online offers are illegal...such as Rodney/BMW dealership in Atlanta can't sell the EM programs online because the BMW policy requires the owner to take the car key in person to the dealership to verify the car's info.

The guy at my local dealer told me over the phone the price would be $1,895...why would I pay $300 more...so I purchased from www.twinkidneygrill.com right after I hung up the phone. That's that!

I am looing at purchasing both the extended maint, and warranty.

The www.twinkidneygrill.com takes me to the Atlanta BMW dealer's site. Does Rodney work there?

I purchased extended maintenance from Rodney @ TwinGrill. Communication was short, but after a couple of weeks I called BMW NA Customer Service number and check with them. It was in the system and dealer did a scheduled maintenance without any problems. My dealer also said that you need a key to get it set up, but Rodney asked for VIN number & mileage.

So it looks like only original owners can purchase the extended warranty from BMW. Anyone know of BMW warranties offered to say the second owner or just not the original owner?
