My Ride: 2005 545i 6-speed, Orient Blue, blk interior, sport pkg, cold weather pkg, navigation, bluetooth, Sirius. Euro Delivery 1/14/05
I'm taking Euro Delivery of my 545i in Munich on Jan 14th. Does anyone know how the roads are in Germany during the winter? I'm worried that I might not get a chance to fully enjoy the car if the roads are slippery. I've only been to Munich during the summer.

I posted that earlier allready. December and January chance of snow in Bavaria. Definately snow in the Alpes, don't drive there.
Because of the low temperatures I would avoid driving at night (danger of ice). You shouldn't have a problem on the highways (Autobahns), since they are allways kept in a good condition, but they use salt to avoid ice and snow, so before drop off you should give your car a good wash, including the bottom!
Allways remember when driving, that you don't have winter tyres. But you are in break-in anyways...

Thanks for the info Iceman. My car is going to be done on December 8th. I can hardly wait to pick it up.
I found out from my dealer that I have to buy the European Nav DVD in order for it to work while I?m in Germany. That?s a bummer. It seems like a waste to buy a new one for just one week.
Is there anyone out there that took European delivery of their e60 that wants to sell their European NAV DVD?
