Cross-posted this on bimmerforums too.

Has anyone had a good experience negotiating a sub-ED msrp price from a dealership in the Boston/Eastern Massachusetts area?

Thanks Jeff -- is he a sales associate or manager? I've already had a test drive with a sales associate there (one who either lied or was ignorant about the new V8 being available this fall), but it sounds like FMW at least won't give me the 'ED list price is as low as we can sell it' routine!

*edit* I've yet to have a "feel good" experience when interacting with FMW. When the sales associate I'd test driven a 545i with called me today to see if I'm still interested, I told him that since meeting with him I'd learned that the 550i will be out in the fall. He argued with me that I was wrong, then put me on hold, then got back on the phone and said that yes, I was correct. I just can't warm up to that dealership, and when one is looking to spend $60,000 with a business, that's a tough one to overcome.

Bart,

I have now bought 4 new BMW's form FMW ,the last two from Drew. I have well warmed up to him as well as my service advisor, Paul . The SA does not own the customer and I would not use anyone else there. I was very demanding and he did everything as i requested as well as and aggressive deal.

Jeff

Hey Jeff I bit the bullet and leased a 2005 545i today from Wagner in Shrewsbury.

I really like the SA there, and that made it pretty easy. The guy bought an E21 in 1978 and loves BMW's.

Oh well, ED in 2008 I guess
