E60 Recall?

I read somewhere (msnbc.com?) that there is a recall on 2004-2006 5 series. Something about the passenger side airbag sensor (may not deploy in a crash). I went to the dealer yesterday to confirm and they said I should just wait for an official letter from BMW before they can fix it.
