The exclusivity is almost gone. I got into mine for cheap as well, but in all honesty I would not have paid more for this car. (With the exception of an M5)

I could have gotten a 545 for less price than I paid in May now!!! Really pisses me off. And M5 for 33k!

Are they CPO? I dunno if I'd feel safe buying a 5 out of warranty w/o the peace of mind CPO offers. Plus, that one has pretty high miles, 57k for being only a 2006. That's probably why it's so cheap.

Check BMW's national CPO inventory. Prices are still pretty high for normal mileage cars.

Right on

these cars are cheap on the surface. I would want to see their service work and if they are CPO.

These cars are incredibly complicated and even simple things have small motors controlling them which out of warranty is a nightmare to fix.

I got mine for less than the price of a decent new small Hatchback in this country.........insane depreciation for the person who bought it new, 32k in 3years.

This, my friend, is a sign of the times. This is a window into the very scary deflationary period America seems to be entering. It is not, on the other hand, showing a lack of exclusivity in owning a BMW.
