I'm sure the service menu in my iDrive has a count down to when they need changing but I'd have to double check. My car now has 59k miles on and I seem to remeber they need doing in the next 2k miles.

BMW reccomends at $100K but if you care about your car u can do it at 60K. I did mine at 60K not much difference but i'm sure it's better this way

What did you replace them with? I'm not a huge Bosch fan, I was thinking NGK platinums or NGK Iridiums
I grabbed the NGK Platinums

When the spark plug replacement was at my expense the change interval was 60K miles ... now the interval is 100K miles so even if you have the extended maintenance package (100K miles) the owner pays for spark plug changes.

I've just clocked over onto 60k and the iDrive is displaying this...
Attachment 75489
Only need 6 plugs on mine though
I'm hoping it should make a decent differnece when I get them changed...

I've got a total of 57K on mine and only 120 mls remaining until the scheduled Oil Change... However, I plan to have the service center replace the Spark Plugs as well... I believe the 60K rule to be reasonable and wise.
