The E65 7 Series with sport package has the high gloss shadowline in the U.S. and looks very nice.

Does anyone know anything about the "satin chrome" option 339 that is included in the 2005 sport package? I would guess that this is replacing the black shadowline.

Iceman, if you get the chance could you post some close-up side views of the glossy trim. TIA

According to the new german pricelist, opcion code 339 corresponds to regular "shadow line", no high gloss. There is no "satin chrome" in the list.

Iceman, it would be interesting (as jtxc said) if you can post some other close-up pictures of the high gloss shadow line trim, if it is possible without the lateral rear sunshades, to see the effects of the trim. TIA.

Maybe option code 339 - satin chrome only applies to the U.S. market. If you look at the U.S. 2005 options sheets posted in the information section of this site, you'll see it.

I've not taken any close up pics of it so far and my sunshades are currently allways up, so I guess I have to take some pics of it.
Will post them when done, but currently it's dark so I'll wait until tomorrow.

Thanks Iceman and heezy545i.

And jyeatman, I have seen the US options sheet, and this is a strange thing. I thought that the option codes are universal. IMHO, its a nonsense that option code 339 for Europe means "shadow line" and option code 339 for US means "satin chrome". Absurd.
