Took my car in for service today, dealer had my car from 9:30 AM to 5 PM. When i got home notice a dent on driver's door. This dent was not there this morning. Service manager got some explaining to do in the morning. What makes me really mad is the person that dented my car didn't have the balls to say something about it. It looks like they opened the door too hard and hit something hard.

If I were you, I'd just drop by first thing in the morning and show them the damage. Confronting face to face doesn't leave much room for them to wiggle out of it like some dealers do when you call them on the phone.

Just drive up, tell your SA to take a look at it and tell him to fix it now!

Sorry to hear about that. I've quit going to one dealership because of similar
issues with my previous dealer.

Now, I drive almost an hour to another dealership. I couldn't really tell from
the pics, but did they try to cover it up with touch-up paint without telling you?

That happened to me before. Just complain and have them fix it at their cost. If you ask nicely they'll do it.

I had a small dent put in the door of my X5 last year by my dealer. I politely informed them and took it by to show them and they apologized and scheduled a PDR appointment and fixed it to my expectations . Be professional and calm...............dealers don't respond well to screamers and people that threaten them .............IMHO
