My Ride: 2005 BMW 530D Sport
Hi everyone,
Looking for some Help/Advice if you could be so kind.
My car went in for an oil change last Monday (27th Aug).
Everything seemed ok, Paid ?160 and went home.
I Have a UK 2005 530 Diesel Sport, 31,000 Miles.
Heres the shocking part!
My BMW had initially got a bit noisy since an accident I had with a Deer! and the front end was repaired with new AC etc, (not by dealer)
I though that the noise would go away after a fresh oil Change!
But after I got my BMW back from the dealer it sounded the same! and the engine has actually started to sound a bit more clattery.
SO....
I popped the hood this morning pulled the dipstick out and the oil is as BLACK as it was before it went in!
It looks like they just topped it up!
I got my mechanic to have a look and he says the filter housing has not even been touched, we looked under the car and same again, the Sumplug has never been touched!
I have only done about 250 Miles since the cars was with BMW last Monday.
So the oil should still look fresh right? IF IT WAS CHANGED!
I will be going to the Dealer tommorrow to complain.
And advice / feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks
Del

But, it wouldn't be dark purplish either. So it's hard to say.

If you are looking for "honey" color clean after 250 miles, it just not going to happen.
