my car should be here by the last week of march.
That's not bad at all considering VPC and Chicago delivery; Basically 6 or 7 weeks?

Ouch, 10 days sitting on the dock of the bay? I'd be going ape. Seems like you may have the first MY07 though.
WMB......keep in mind that after it's built, I don't think it goes immediately to the docks. That may take a day or more (especially, perhaps, if it's a weekend), and it will sit on the dock until a ship is both available, and then full before she sails. I haven't spoken to my dealer in a week, so it's possible that my car could be loaded, and asea right now. I think there may even be a few others here on the west coast with cars shipping the same time. I'll repost today after speaking with my salesman for a status update

Does it take longer to sail to West coast then East coast - just wondering..
Of course, the ship has to go through the Panama Canal.

I believe a few folks that ordered MY07 e60's have had them delivered. (USA)

Can you let me know:

a) What your wait time was from order to delivery.
b) If your car stopped at VPC and what that added; how long that took.
c) Your location in states.

If your car has not been delivered just let me know your order date; we can all countdown together.
wmbiii, pls look at my sig for details.

My car sat at the German port awaiting loading for ~10 days. Also, the vessel took a circuitous route to come to VPC. After it was offloaded, it took ~4 days to reach the dealer (Sterling). I will complete 1 year after delivery this Wednesday. Time flies when you are having fun.

I just looked up some old numbers from last time:

Time begin production to on ship: 14 days
Time on ship: 15 days
Time from ship arrival in NY to dealer in PA: 12 days

That's pretty darn quick. I'm wondering what will happen with the MY07's....

Good question: once its in production, it will go "fast".
It yours still status 112 or do you have a scheduled production date?

I found out from the dealer yesterday that my car is still in port, but scheduled to depart on a ship Thursday, 3-23. I have a ship name, but no shipping lines info. Does anyone know how to find a ship if all you have is the ship name? At any rate, I'm about 4 weeks out.....my guess anyway

Mine is in production now, expect to be done (according to BMW automated hotline) by 3/28. So I am thinking first couple weeks of May for delivery with Aero Kit beingt added once it get to the states.
