What's up y'all? Since no one answered my question in the delaer purchasing/finanacing forum, I thought I'd ask here. My question is, can you lease a CPO? If so, are there specific year ranges you can lease? I was surfing the BMWNA CPO section and saw an 06 M5 I may be interested in.

I was told you could but that it wasnt worth it by a sales lady at bmw manhattan

I think you can but was told that the owners choice program is better if you want to lease, basically owners choice is reduced payments with a balloon payment at the end. The thing is the balloon payment is calculated to be such that if at the end of your term you want something different the vehicles worth should be a little better then the balloon payment so dealershipp will take your car basically in payment for the balloon payment.

As a rule BMW will NOT lease a car that's come back from a lease, because they don't want to own a 5 or 6 year old car with lots of miles as it has little value to them!
