Saw the Ultimate British plate Yesterday....its on a BMW dealer 760 Li Car (not my dealer)
Its a Black 760i, dechromed, F.Huge wheels and the plate was
<span style='font-size:21pt;line-height:100%'>8MW</span>
I have to admit It caused a real doubletake on my part......looked so smooth!

My wife and I are also considering an X3 2.5 as her next vehicle when the lease on her Passat runs out. I'd be very curious to hear your opinions on it when you finally do get it.
My car is due at the Spartanburg, SC VDC on Friday, so I am definitely on the home stretch until redelivery. I dropped it off at E.H.Harms in Munich on May 5, so if I get it the first of next week, that will only be 5 weeks from drop-off to redelivery.
I'm insanely jealous of all of you that already have your vehicles. I got a little taste during my ED trip, and it's been torture waiting to be "reunited."

Is it customary in the UK that they give you a car for a weekend to test it out?
I'm arranging a test drive in the X3 with my wife on friday. She's a picky girl...
I have a rather large trailer (2,000 kg) that needs towing every now and then. I learned that the 2.5 X3 can only take 1,800 and the 3.0 can take 2,000 kg. Looks like I found an argument for the big one. hehe.
Anyway, what colour scheme did you pick for the X3?
Oh, and the price of that 8MW plate will probably buy you a small village in Portugal... Hmmm, choices, choices...

if you know your dealer well, that is, they know you will waste vast amounts of cash with them, they should let you borrow the car for the weekend.
i too went the personalised plate route and have finally overcome the feeling of being a bit of a plonker - mine only cost c150 from the dvla and now goes everywhere with me, useful if as you change cars frequently it saves the bother of having to remember new numbers!

not really as It is really for Mrs diesel....ooops mrs petrol I mean.
I only drive her car occasionally but have to clean and muck it out regularly !
Car cleanliness is a man thing as is polish/wax etc....my wife says zymol is "Clarins for cars"
getting a bit off-topic so to bring it back.......ONLY 64Hours to go!
