i ordered 545i with mystic blue and beige Nasca leather.
it has all options except active cruise control.
Of course,.. it's SMG.

I always tried to find the way to get the car sooner.
Yesterday, i got a phone for my dealership and she said
one of her customer tried to find a upcoming 545i.
While searching, she found a 545i that fully-loaded with smg.
it comes with titanium silver and black naska leather. and It's availabe condition!!!
Maybe somebody canceled his order
The car just departed from the german port, and if i want,
i could get it within 3 weeks.
My confusion is that as i read the board, 5 series will have major modification
on something...
Do I have to wait for the modification? or just get the titatium one?

plz give me answer guys... :'(

 

Do you HAVE to wait? No of course not... Do you want to wait? Probably not too. I JUST placed my order for my car Last Thursday and just found out about this "modification" too but I'm going to keep my existing order. They said they will implement the change early 2005 whenever that will be?? I have a feeling it might be in March. And no one knows what the real modification really will be. I wish I knew so I can decide... but as some have said it might be a mod for the EuroNCap which if thats the case I dont want to wait for.

 

The E60 as it is right now is one of the safest cars on the road. I am sure that they will probably make some crumple zone adjustment to make it even safer. It has the accident prevention and avoidance features that IMO are as important as the post accident protection features, which it is loaded with.

I would get the car now. It is absolutely awesome. The proposed changes are not worth waiting for. It is an extremely safe car already.

 

Is everyone sure its just really the EuroNCap safety thing thats being modified? Cuz if it is then ya I wouldnt be too worried either...
