My Ride: 2006 530xi. Deep green with beige interior. 6 speed manual. Premium package.
Car's not even here yet and i had my first dealer let down. Called and ordered the clear bra from the accessories magazine, gave them part number and price. No problem. was $320.00. Then they called me back later and said tehy don't do that - actually he siad they did but he would recommend another installer who could do it for $450-500. I guess I should be happy he was honest.

Better to let an expert do the install anyway...someone that does it all the time that is.

Yep, better let a professional installer do it. I had mine done about 2 weeks ago and it too a long time (I had everyting done, except door handles). I will post pixs soon. PM me if you want the installer; pretty reasonable guy. (parts + ~$100 labor). I figure I could have gone cheaper...but come on spending 60K+ on the car didnt want to go cheap on the clearbra.

I just picked up my black sapphire metallic 550i last night. I would love the car bra... but I have heard that the bra is relatively visible on the darker colors... any truth to this?

No not really unless you look for it up close, your friends will never see it, unless you point it out to them. I had it put on last week, it cost me 700.00, I have the Aero-Kit, so I had them put extra pieces for the side skirts.

I took this about an hour after getting my Invisiguard full clear bra kit installed on my TiGrey 550i. Can you see any evidence of lines? TiGrey (obviously) isn't as dark as black, but it definitely conceals evidence of the clear bra lines unless you actually look up close.

Jeremy... is there anyone you would recommend in Los Angeles... I heard of one place (valley clear bra or something)... are there any places here in LA that you would recommend? Also... I have a black sapphire metallic car... what type of car bra would you recommend? THANKS!

That install from Jeremy looks great, and you took a great picture. Would it be possible to post pictures that are not so pretty i.e. pictures where we can see the clear bra clearly. Just wanted to see how visible it is on TiGrey under non-ideal lighting. THANKS IN ADVANCE.
