There's technical problems with HUD in the RHD car. So it's not available to order until next year sometime. I was quote "March/April".

Ordering a 535d Individual and miss out on HUD. Don't do it.

Not sure HUD is worth a grand, but you ordered everything else, so you may as well get that too.

ISUK, are U sure floormats are not included in the Ind.Eq3 Pack? I see them here in the list I quoted before (velour anthracite).
BTW if U are tight on the budget probably better drop TV function (anyway it is possible to have TV reception only during stand still position) for Comfort seats. Besides comfortability (check with Iceman) they are definitely winners in terms of aesthetics (headrests) compared with either sandard or sports seats.
I am pretty sure as Comfort seats are foreseen for Ind. package too you will not have to pay twice in this regard.

igor,

It's not a budget issue. I could add the comfort seats but I have to draw the line somewhere Floormats aren't included in the Eq3 option list or brochure that I have.

ISUK is right, definitely tight these BMW people, floor mats are not part of Individual and are extra no matter what

The one thing that would bug me about the HUD is that BIG gap in the dash. As much as I'd love to have it, I think it would bother me..

Wild guess about the non-availability of RHD HUD; could it have something to do with that brochure for the new 3 leaking out and BMW having to bring the introduction date forward by more than half a year? All hands on board kindof thing?

I don't think so, FF. The best that I can remember (it's over three weeks now) I am not even conscious of the gap except when I am cleaning or applying Rain-X. I have never had a passenger ask about it.

Or the fact that Audi are going to jump them with the A4 revamp.

Like the conspiracy theory definitely better than the supplier issue! However HUD has bee delayed since way before that brochure was leaked.
The gap is not noticeable in normal conditions but if you look a lot through the windscreen from the outside, it certainly isn't too discreet <_<
