How long does it usually take to get the CCA rebate check for a new car? I have been waiting 6 weeks now.

It took two months for mine and strangely enough, it came from BMWUSA, not BMWCCA.

Why would that be strange? You send the check request form to BMW of North America (in NJ) and not to CCA (in SC) Why would you expect to see the check from CCA??

In any event, it?s a Car Club rebate sponsored by BMWNA. The only thing that the CCA does is to verify your membership eligibility (being 1 year or more).

Gee. Thanks, wang.
Have I said something that offended you??
If so I apologize.... there is no need for the condesending tone and the derogotory term.

Hi drjochen. I had waited almost until the the expiration time to mail in all of my rebate info. So I was a bit anxious to make sure it got processed quickly to ensure I would receive it. I wound up calling the phone number on the back of my membership card to ask about the status of it. I was given an e-mail address to send my inquiry to and to put VIN # in the subject line. I did so. However, I later looked through my paperwork and had noted that it had only been pushing 3 weeks since I sent it. So I jumped the gun I guess. But by contacting them, I got my check within 4 days of doing so. So, I think I expidited it and cut through some red tape and actually got it quicker than if I would have just waited for the normal response time. I will look up the e-mail address of the individual that handles these matters and PM it to you. Hope it helps and good luck!

If i became a member of BMWCCA in January 2004 and purchased another BMW in November 2004 do i qualify for the rebate?

Or do i have to be a member for 12 consecutive months? In other words wait to purchase until January 2005 or February 2005? When does the 60 day rule come into play?

Thanks!

If you became a member in Jan. 2004, you would not be eligible to get the rebate on a new or a C.P.O. car until Jan. of 2005. What is the 60 day rule you speak of? Do you mean the time frame you have to get all of your paperwork together to mail to them after the purchase to get the actual check?
