Probably meant to ask if anyone here did a carfax vehicle check recently and might have some time left on their "subscription". At least I hope that's what he's thinking...

Carfax now limits you to a certain number of reports, unlike before when they allowed you unlimited checks over a specific time. To OP, if that vehicle is at a dealership, they should be able to provide you with a carfax report.

OK yes sorry got it wrong. So if you put in http://www.realoem.com/bmw/select.do?vin=WD79178 it comes up with 11/2007 E83N X3 2.5si SAV N52N Europe Left hand drive N, which is, er, well almost, the same.

In the UK it is normal for the person who wants to find out the history of a car to find out for himself because it's chargeable. On the other hand, maybe Victory has a point.
