My car is booked in next Monday (18th) for these faults:
Adaptive headlights not adapting anymore!
Recalls (Apparently engine cover? and recode for heated seats/battery drain)
Squeaky Door Seals (They weren't too aware of this one!)
Aircon Recirc letting outside smells in
Headlights staying on after 'tunnel'
Various Steptronic issues (Downshift clunk, Delayed pullaway, High Revving with light throttle)
I'll report how things go...

My Ride: 525, Dec 2003, Silver Grey, Black Dakota Leather, Bluetooth, Satnav, 18'' Runflats, Sunroof, Folding mirrors, Automatic
Good luck!
Last time I booked mine in for :-
LED lights not working since Idrive 17 upgrade ( I told them I didnt think there was a fix available but they said they would try )
I told them cup holder was broken.
Noise / rattles from parcel shelf.
Headlight brackets broken ( design fault on early E60s, in other posts )
After a day in the workshop:-
Cant fix the LEDs yet !
New cupholder ordered ( I told them it was broken, why didnt they get one in! )
New clips ordered for parcel shelf ( & new airbag covers now as trashed when
looking at parcel shelf problem ! )
New brackets ordered ( wanted to charge me for them ! )
Booked in again in August to try again.
I'm sure they keep getting me in there to be tempted by the E60 sport in the showroom!!

i think i have spoken before.
if i suspect u are going to the stratford dealer, be prepared for some really shoddy service and customer care.
i have currently lodged a complaint in relation to this to the head office
waiting for a response

I'm interested in my LEDs still working... I also have a list of things that must still work following the upgrade:
Folding mirrors from key
A/C Auto works as intended
LEDs

[/quote]Shocked my dealer this morning with the TSB and CIP fix lists... They were very inquisitive of where I got them and said that I shouldn't have them! However, I told them the Internet is a wonderful place
Let's see what happens later today - they intimated that they may want if for 2 days now...
