My Ride: 2005 BMW 530i Oriental Blue Metalic Beige InteriorPremium PackageCold Weather Package

Quick question. I am past the 4yr warranty and have the extended cpo warranty. My sunroof now has lots of windnoise and has a rattle under the headliner. I know theres a service bulletin for the windnoise so I was wondering would that get fixed no charge or would I get charged the $50 fee to take care of it since I have the cpo. Thanks!

Any repair under CPO will cost you $50. A bulletin is nothing more than a procedure explained to the tech for common problems so that they don't re-invent the wheel.

Not entirely true. About 5% of bulletins are RECALLS (safety or EPA related) or SERVICE ACTIONS (factory detected errors usually in bad batch of parts or assembly technique). RECALLS ask you to come in while SERVICE ACTIONS just check on cars as they come in for service (scheduled or unscheduled). Yet tther bulletins may describe certain symptoms that may be "treatable" by certain actions including software updates, but also technical actions such as unplugging water drain lines that are prone to clogging. Bulletins normally will identify if covered under warranty (which as you state for CPO is $50 but again it has to be a "covered" repair).
