My Ride: '05 545i - scheduled for ED pickup in Munich on 7/22!
2 weeks ago I placed an order for a 545 European Delivery. Today my salesperson told me that he received an internal BMW bulletin saying that the invoice pricing for ED and Diplomatic on current E60s (05 545, 06 525 and 530) is increasing effective 6/9/05. He says this may mean that even all current orders that were negotiated above invoice pricing will be impacted. Has anyone heard anything about this?

That's the thing...although I haven't signed for the actual purchase or lease, my car does have a production # and VIN already.

However, if your agreement was for a set amount of dollars (say $50,000) for a certain options on the car, I think it would be reasonable for the dealer to take the hit in the pricing. Because you agreed to buy (order) a car based on a price and not X amount over his cost.
This isn't the first time and certainly won't be the last time for a mid year price hike.

My Ride: 2006 530xi ED 7/1/2005. Silver Grey, Black Leather, Premium Package, Cold Weather, Sport, Logic 7, 18'' style 123 rims.
I spoke to my SA at BMW, and it sounds like he got approval from a "regional BMW" person to forgo the increase on cars that are already "ordered". I also had no signed paperwork with anything other than an "over invoice" cost agreement. I Have an ED July 30, but this rule should apply to to others as well. I would press the issue and see where it leads.
