I have to say they do a fair amount, honestly. I received 2 oil changes, new front brakes *CHA CHING*, coming up on rears in 2k miles. Also, Micro in cabin air filters, which I might add you can't get ANYWHERE. And of course the simple stuff like wipers.

Oh ya... if you drive enough then ya... my problem is I dont... personal problem I guess. But like I said... I definetly do like it. No argument there... I guess I shouldnt complain.

BMW NA CUSTOMER RELATIONS.

Would you please be so kind as to enlighten us as to why BMW does not offer the same
"Bumper to Bumper" maintenance to their Canadian customers here in Canada?

Brakes/ Wipers and the like are not covered in Canada under your new car warranty.

My understanding of BMW's policy is that it will do an oil change at least once a year regardless of mileage.

The dealer changed the oil on a yearly basis regardless of the mileage & reset the indicator. Also at year 2 the brake system was flushed per BMW guileline. This is usually covered under inspection one. Some of the maintenance items are time based as well as based on the indictator program. I pointed these out to the dealier in the maintenance guideline. I had no issue having the dealer do this routine maintenance under the US maintenance contract.

When I had my mods done, they threw in an oil change despite I was under the servce indicator. It was itemized on the receipt as a "low mileage oil service".

I had to pay an extra ?1300 for a 5 year service/maint pack here in the UK.

Thanks for visiting the forums. I believe our Volvo XC90 has full maintenance during the warranty period. Also my G35 Infiniti didn't have full maintenance but it had a 4 Year/60,000 mile warranty compared to BMW's 60,000. I've always thought BMW should have a 60,000 mile vs 50,000 mile.

very nice having u here. i agree with everyone else...the oil intervals are wayyy toooo long. im approaching 1 year/11,000 miles and the computer still tells me i have 3000 miles to go.

I purchased the Factory Extended Warranty and Maintenance Program to 100K miles. Why won't my dealer (Bob Smith BMW Calabassas, CA) cover a simple software upgrade? I brought my car in after 50K miles and the dealership declined it, then BMWNA Customer Relations verified that it was NOT covered. What good is an extended warranty that doesn't even cover software upgrades? Are you sure you're from BMWNA Cust. Relations?
