BMW Dealer Courtesy / Loan Car's
#11
The last time I checked, my dealer would provide a loaner only starting on day two of a service visit. They usually turn my car around in a day, so I haven't bothered getting a loaner.

Same here. I bought the car just a month back. At the time of delivery, I found some scratches on the body. They offered me to cover it for free. So I dropped my car in and picked up the loaner. To my surprise, I found a charge in my credit card statement after a couple of days. Moreover they still missed the paintwork at one place and told me to drop my car again and pick up the loaner!
But I'm surprised by the overwhelming ~71% who do not get charged for a loaner!! I can see I'm the only one in the US voted "Yes".

Only charge I had was for gas (I knew that would happen so I wasn't upset). They called me to let me know how much too.
I asked when I got the car if the rental would cost me anything, and what would happen if I had it additional days in the event that I couldn't make it back in time. I was told that the dealership would cover the costs as long as I had the car.
