over the weekend i had a small incident where a "fcuk head" jump in front of me and hit my car. his fault and i already contacted the insurance to get the car repaired. i have state farm and so does the guy so they said i could take the car to and shop i choose any start the repair processs...

so does anyone know of a body shop in the miami area that does good work on BMW's? i gotta get my hood and front bumper replaced and want the paint to match as good as possible. i've heard that titanium silver is a pain to match so i want the work to be done right.

thanks in advance,
orlee

Sorry to hear that Orlee.....but look on the bright side, you could get a Mtech front bumper as replacement.
As for a good shop.....I'll ask around for you.

I would check with the BMW dealers and see who they recommend, T/S is a more difficult match but I've seen perfect matches on several cars. You'll be good !!

Orlee, damn I just remembered man, our E39 got damaged during a service visit (some sort of slovent on the hood & rt fender) at BMW of P. Pines and they sent it to their body shop........Here. They did a fine job, color match was perfect.

thanks westcoast550 (happy late b-day by the way, nice M5 )

so i have a dilema... and i've been searching but im not finding what i want...

now i blame MiamiPhill for confirming my initial idea to upgrade to the mtech front bumper... Is the mtech bumper an original OEM part for my car that the body shop can get from the BMW dealer? does it require any extra parts to mount it or does it mount to my car with no other mods (direct bolt on) and if it needs extra plastic parts for mounting are they included in the purchase of the bumper??

I would like to upgrade but would like for the body shop to take care of ordering it and installing it instead of the normal e60 bumper cover but i dont want to complicate them to much or have the insurance deny the part...

so does the mtech bumper include parts are they included in the purchase of the bumper? could anyone give me the part numbers i would need to get this bumper mounted? or link me to them some how.

i would greatly appreciate any help in this matter,

orlee
