Trying to order ED on '05 545....might still be able to get a July date but August more reasonable. I hear the factory is on holiday and Europeans go on vacation in August. Will it be a bad time for tourism? Will shops be closed, etc?

Thanks,
Rich

You will miss factory tours and yes, in many countries in August businesses close and tourists arrive. The roads will also be crowded. I would recomend an early June ED. Last year we did 2000 miles through Italy, France, Spain in the last two weeks of July and the holiday season was already on its way.
