I just noticed this! On both the driver's side and the passenger's side, on the interior where the a-pillar meets the dashboard, the headliner material that covers the a-pillar is rolling/peeling up. It looks terrible! Is this just on my car, or does anyone else have this too?

???
What do you mean by "non-bmw" problem?

...and believe me, it's on the list (along with 13 other things) for when our clutchless pos gets looked at by the dealer.

Sorry. A little bitter at the moment.

Out of curiosity, did you ever have your dash pulled for work? I'm assuming you must, since you also have a very early car. I was wondering if it might have been related to replacing the iDrive computer (or in our case, when they were sorting out the electrical fire damage and also replacing the iDrive computer).

Did they give you a hassle about it, or did they replace them without a fight?

I couldn't agree more. It's just stupid how BMW is wasting money by waiting for the actual hearing. The car will have depreciated more, and we'll have paid a lot more payments that they'll have to refund. It's such a clear cut case, and it's a major pain in the neck having a vehicle this unreliable. You have no idea how much of my time this bum car takes up with its problems-- the problems themselves, the phone calls, the writing, the appointments themselves, the driving to and from dealers, and on and on it goes. This problem, however, is obviously just an annoyance & doesn't critically affect the driveability of the car like so many of our other problems!
