Any tricks for door dings?
#1
So, it's seem like anytime I'm feeling lazy and I don't park in the bleacher seats somebody wants to slam their door into the side of my car. I've been lucky to get away with a few paint scuffs and some chips on the door handles, but I couldn't avoid a hard one to the rear passenger door the other day. Anyway, I have a good sized ding and it's driving me crazy. I've tried the dry ice thing, but it didn't work. Any home remedies or am I just going to have to suck it up and take it to the shop?

Don't bother fooling around with dry ice or other rain dance stuff. PDR is relatively cheap and effective- these guys are artists.
I had PDR done on the doors of my '95 993 at $100/door and I'm truly impressed.

+100 on the PDR, they work miracles and you should never even know that the car had a mark in the first place!

Ditto on the PDR, as someone mentioned they are artists. Only problem, they lose their eyesite at an early age. I know two guys who do work in the North Jersey area, both in their late 30's and both with the same complaint, bad eyesite.
Why do I bring this up....??Not sure. Just make sure your guy can see straight.
