Took delivery this past Wednesday (2 days ago). Unbelievable. I have never owned a car like this before. It is my first BMW, and if the past 2 days dictate my experience over the next few years, I am absolutely addicted for life. I dare say I even like it better than the 7 series. So much more sport and personality.

A final thank you to all who helped make my 550 the finest car I have ever owned.

- Daniel

FYI - someone had asked about anthracite wood being compatible with nasca leather & ventilation. The answer is a most definite yes.

All right!

Pics please ... especially of your interior.

What other options did you get?

Enjoy it.

Glad you like the BMW---they are truly amazing cars---that's why I didn't even consider another brand for this purchase. I've calculated my wait to also be right at 69 days...I'm in day 10

Post pics so I can help pass the time away.

Awesome dude! Please post some pics of the new ride! My baby is waiting to get on to the ship this Sunday....in the meantime, I have to live vicariously through my fellow e60er.

BTW this will be my first Bimmer as well and my present car is a diesel Jetta...some upgrade!
