My Ride: Currently: (3/1/06) 2002 530i black on black prem, sport, cold, xenon.
My 550 is darn close, boat gets to NJ tomorrow and car could be unloaded over weekend then to VPC for M Aero Kit. Question is can it get down I-95 by the end of the week or am I looking at the last week in April to take delivery?
Its the VPC that kind of throws a wrench in things - could take a week there alone. I'm happy watching my grass grow and being patient...(not).
I did see a Monaco Blue 545 with Black interior last night. I drove behind it for 10 minutes at dusk. That Monaco blue certainly is beautiful, I'm happy I ordered that color. I'll let all know when delivery happens.

My Ride: '05 545i - scheduled for ED pickup in Munich on 7/22!
depends on how backed up the vpc is. could take a week or 2...ask your dealer to check the vpc's current status for you.

very cool! I'm trying to find out if mine is on the same vessel since it's also in transit. I'm driving down from CT back to VA this Sunday. I would be more than happy to pick up your 550 on my way.

My Ride: '04 545iS 6 spd, bought new via eBay, 11/05; Blk/Gry, Cold, L7, PDC, BMW Rear seatcover for pets.
First "Bumwa" was a new 1971 2002. High performance 5s since 1987. Beamer motorcycles too, currently on an 07 BMW K1200 GT; also a Moto Guzzi 1000 SP III.

OK so really hasn't been that long (7 days since arrived VPC and I am getting Aero Kit installed) but I am impatient and my daughter keeps asking where daddy's new car is....bummed.

Just heard from my dealer - 7 days after vehicle arrived at VPC:

We should be looking at the car arriving in about 5 days. Again this is an estimate, so their are other variables that could arise, but as of now we should tentatively plan on you picking up the car this Sat. 4/29.
I will stay in touch, and follow this daily to let you know if there are any changes.

That means car will have been at VPC or on road for total of 12-13 days. I guess the Aero kit threw off the 2-3 day average by 10 days. I'm traveling this weekend so looking at next Monday for pick up hopefully. Another week in the Dodge Stratus rental - kick a$$.
