Even they die! But they know the limits... So nobody should try to do the same. Not on a public road, not on track. You need a lot of training to drive like them...

NO...
Not like fog lights... You shouldn't use the foglights without fog, even when you are trained...
You should use them in fog though...

Professional race drivers may know the limits of their car but some crash and die every year.? Your point that street racing is dangerous and reckless is well taken, however.

Anyway, it's a moot point almost, as I'm not convinced that this poster is not a pro driver and this was done on the street or "road" as he has said.
And what's up with the fog lights? Has nothing to do with this! But that touches on another pet peeve of mine - drivers who drive with their fog lights on all the time to look cool. Silly! Like the poster above said - fog lights are to be used in foggy conditions only. When I see someone with their fog lights on on a clear day or night, I know they are the street racer type. It's hard not to be with all the movies like "The Fast and The Furious" and other marketing crap that even BMW is guilty of.
If we stop to think about it, most of us here are not race car drivers, and the E60 is NOT a race car! It's a luxury sedan and with good balance, steering, and suspension. That's why things like SMG, etc. don't make sense to me on a 5xx. Then again, people modofy Honda Civics to street race - I know. I live in University town, with a lot of rich students with nice cars. Bought by mom and dad. Putting danger out on the streets. And like I said, I've seen with my own eyes the accidents and damage these cars can do in the wrong hands. Of course you can't say it's BMW's fault, but in a way it sort of is. Maybe to buy an M3 or a 545 ( or ANY fast car - Corvette, etc.) you need to take an additional driving test!
